Quite an interesting research, but choosing the blame game paradigm derides African efforts to move forward; conflicts and betrayal has been blamed on colonialism and everything wrong seems to be blamed on colonialism. The obvious is a diversion from seeking possible ways to salvage our problem and ride the continent out of poverty. Taking stock of the African ruling elites rather than looking at the distant past for explanation of African problems may be helpful. What becomes of the human right abuses and blackmailing in Africa? How can we explain the development of nations that were never colonized? I entreat that we don’t blame sorcerers for the African problem; else we castigating our own ancestral roots.

I couldn't agree more Denis - there is a need to point the finger inwards as well.
